Fresco Laboratory

Satoshi Kawata embarked on the project originally conceived by Elena Rădoi and went on to develop it with her. The two worked together on what was called a “Fresco Laboratory”: making, testing, and finally creating the mural painting, which was later to be cut, detached, and exhibited.

Photographers

Regina Korkovelou and Thodoris Saitis were the two brave Athenian photographers who hopped into the boat to create photographic responses to whatever was going on on site. Regina came back for a video essay on the bladed-weapon cuts.

Host

The host, or home, was the House of Literature, in concentric layers: the building, the bookstore, and, at their core, Androniki Mastoraki, who keeps the project, in a feminine-st way, both protected and open to the world.
